Greetings,
As we enter 2024, the Texas Association of African American Chambers of Commerce (TAAACC) remains steadfast in its mission to strengthen digital and physical bonds within black business ecosystems across Texas. Our dedication to nurturing these vital connections has been our driving force since TAAACC’s outset, and we are enthusiastic to continue to fight for Black Businesses in Texas another year.
In anticipation of the 89th Texas Legislative session in 2025, we are deepening our commitment to understanding and advocating for the needs of our community. By actively listening to the insights of Black Chamber leaders and the voices of the community members we serve, we aim to tailor our strategies and policy proposals effectively to better our overall 350,000 business in Texas, the state with the most African American (Black) population in the union.
To ensure that we meet the needs of our members across all corners of Texas, we will continue to host Regional Meetings within each of our five territories. These gatherings are more than just meetings; they’re a space for collaboration, resource sharing, and collective problem-solving. We’re also excited to enhance our portfolio of programming designed to deliver added value to your TAAACC membership.
Whether you’re a longstanding member or new to TAAACC, we invite you to engage with us. Your participation is the fuel that powers our engine for change. Together, we’ll build thriving networks that not only support each business but also forge a resilient and unified economic landscape for black entrepreneurs across Texas.

I look forward to working with our President, Charles O’Neal, our executive board and each one of you that will serve with us.
