The Corporation organized to establish a statewide network among African American Chambers of Commerce to encourage uniformity and cooperation among said chambers to provide a strong economic base and improve the business conditions for all African American business enterprises throughout the state of Texas.
The corporation shall encourage networking, business expansion, education, inter-business support, as well as assist African American Chambers of Commerce and businesses in identifying creative and innovative business opportunities.
It is further the purpose of the Corporation to promote the interests of the community by exercising leadership in the development of effective governmental programs and services; promoting and expanding economic development and enhancing opportunities for African American enterprises. Provided, however, this corporation shall not engage in any activity or have as its purpose any activities expressly prohibited under the provision of Article 1396 (2.01) of the Texas non-profit Corporation Act, or Article 1320-4.05 of the Texas Miscellaneous Corporation Laws Act.
TAAACC interacts directly with the legislative, judicial and executive levels of government to influence policies in accordance with the Mission Statement.

Participate in the legislative process to ensure that African-American businesses are treated with equal opportunities and fairness.
Work with state and corporate allies to openly embrace diversity and inclusion.
TAAACC is a “think tank” organization for its members, thereby strengthening, stimulating and providing positive advocacy, while disseminating any and all useful data that is beneficial to African-American businesses and communities.
